Throughout Tribute City Fashion Week, we will spotlight our amazing designers and the faces behind our fashion week! Our first blog spotlight is on Ava Jhamin, the director of Tribute City Fashion Week.
Ava Jhamin is the owner & operator of L'Amour Model Management. Ava has been involved in the fashion industry in Second Life, since she was a week old. Since 2009, Ava has been producing and directing shows. Ava loves everything the fashion industry has to offer, from the creative side to dealing with the production side of putting on shows. Ava has produced fashion weeks that have included up to 30 designers.Ava founded L'Amour Model Management & Productions in 2011. Ava has taken L'Amour from being an unknown agency to one of the most active on the Second Life grid. Ava stated that she was honored to work with Tribute City the past almost 2 years.
Ava worked as former runway model, this experience gave her the insight on both the runway side and the production side of fashion shows in Second Life. This insight has led to Ava customizing shows towards the individual designer's needs and wants. Ava firmly believes in the deisgner having choices and being involved as much or as little as a designer chooses.
